Crowds last week Nov or first weekof December?

We go nearly every year st this time and was just wondering which week you think would be more crowded, the first week right after Thanksgiving or the week of 4 December? I think Pop Warner is during the 4th.

I don't really know because this will be our lst trip at this time of year. I do know that mousefest starts dec. 1st and my dh is going to a big conference that checks in nov. 27th and they are expecting 6,000 for that. Thank heavens they will be studying all day while I take the 3 ds to have fun in the parks. Also the christmas parade taping at the mk is dec. 3rd too and throw in the cp at epcot and mvmcp. We are doing both of those. I guess if you plan well you can handle whatever comes up. Enjoy your trip from a fellow LI'er.

I've been during both weeks several times - we alternate between them so that we can get two trips out of one AP. Both weeks have very low crowds (for WDW). (If you are used to going during this period, it is more crowded than it used to be. (All the parks were virtually empty in December 2001). However, IMHO, it is now just crowded enough to not worry about any activities being cancelled or only scheduled for once or twice a week - that's a big PLUS!

Honestly, there is no significant difference betweeen the weeks. Neither Pop Warner nor Mousesfest attendees make any noticable impact on park attendance. Once in a while, we'll hit a crowd at a particular attraction or area. We just go to another attractiojn/area and by the time we return the momentary "blip" is gone.

Visit whichever week works best for your schedule.

I think either is pretty good.

If you are planning on staying at the value resorts, I would probably go after Thanksgiving to avoid staying with the POP warner groups.

If you are not staying at a value, I think the crowds might be just a little lighter during the first week of December, but I'm not sure you'd really notice much difference.

We decided to stay at CSR and go the first week of December.
