I'm worried about crowds in June--12-24 we will be there. Does anybody know if FL students will still be in school due to hurricanes this fall? Any FL residents out there who can advise me? Thanks, in advance for your reply!

It won't matter because most of the rest of the country will be out of school and there. June is crowded. No getting around that. Just use FP when you can, and if you are staying on site take advantage of the EMH for both early mornings and evening. Take a break in the afternoon to cool off and relax by the pool. We find the parks much nicer when we go back in the evening. Of course could just be the rest and relaxation from our break talking, but always found it better. :o)

Most all schools, unless they are year round will be out by June 1. It will be crowded.

Yeap, agree with all the posters..school ends here in South FL on 6/3 but you can bet it won't matter, WDW will be busy. It was last year earlier in June and I have NO desire to go back again during this time...I could bear the crowds if it weren't so darn hot...and that's coming from a South Floridian!! (June is the hotest month because the sun is at it's strongest). Sorry to say but, the dates you mention are PEAK season dates.

It will unfortunately be busy when you go...but that doesnt mean you cant have a great time....if you are staying on site, use the EMH in the morning, skip to another park when it gets crowded, then head back to the hotel for a break.lunch/nap and then go to the evening emh park. And ALWAYS have Fast Passes in hand and youll be fine :earboy2:

Schools in the south tend to be out in May, schools in the north generally aren't done til mid June. Year round schools still only make up a small percentage of all schools so that shouldn't have a big effect. Here in the DC metro area schools aren't done til close to the 20th of June. My 2DS are in college so I'm not 100% of the schedule anymore, but around the 18-20th was always the most common timeframe, depending on how many snowdays they used. FL students only make up a small percentage of visitors. The summer is just more crowded, and that starts as schools start letting out in May across the country. Also remember, foreign students have different schedules than we do. From what I've heard the parks are just getting busier year round.

Yep...Here in North Florida our children's last day of school is Wedensday May 25th, 2005. The Seasonal Pass blackout dates start June 11, 2005 so from May 25-June 11 will be prime time for local Florida residents to visit the world...We'll be there for about 2 weeks... :earboy2:
