I was wondering how the crowds are going to be in early December (5-14). We went last Feb and the parks were do-able and enjoyable most of the time. (Meaning smaller crowds and cool weather) Is it similiar?

And speaking of weather.... We had mild days and some very cold nights in Feb.. can I expect the same in Dec?

And should I book a package for Fantasmic, or will it not be too crowded... I mean like in summer where the crowds start to line up hours beforehand?

Thanks in advance for any info you guys can give me!

Early December is my favorite time to visit WDW! The crowds are very low and the Christmas decorations are up, they are spectacular! The weather will probably be cool, you will need a light jacket. The only drawback to going during this time is that park hours will be reduced, personally I think it's worth it .
I can't answer your question regarding Fantasmic...never been.
Enjoy your trip!

Crowds are not bad and all the holiday things going on with decorations it's great.Weather can be hot, cold or in between we always bring the clothes for all types of weather. We get a locker at parks and put sweater, heavy jacket etc. to handle weather when sun goes down.:)

We've gone the first or second week of December the past 5 years. Crowds were not bad any of the years. Weather was variable. 1998, 1999 & 2001 were beautiful - high 70's/low 80's, no rain, just a little cool at night. 2000 was cold - low 60's during the day, down into the 40's at night but no rain. Last year was a mixed bag - some cold days, some warm days but 2 days of non-stop rain.

Just between you and me....I don't care what the weathers like! we are going the same time frame (12/3-12/11) and I can hardly wait! I've heard a lot of variations for the weather so we will be bringing a couple of outfits for every kind of weather. What we don't have...we can buy I guess. I am just looking forward to all of the holiday decorations...we went to DisneyLand a couple of years ago during Christmas and it was really nice but in a smaller way. Hope to see some of you at WDW and with any luck the weather will cooperate!

Unless you object to the possibility of wearing a sweatshirt (probably in the evening), it's PERFECT:D
