Crowds end of Aug/First of Sept

I'm in the process of booking a trip for August 28 until September 2nd 2017. I know FD is going on and F&W starts but how are crowds at that time. Are most local schools in session? TIA

Crowds are low IMO. We go every year during this time frame. It also helps when there is a storm/hurricane brewing.

I agree with the lower crowds during this time of year. We've gone the last week of August/first week of September for the last two years and have loved it. We'll be heading back this year the first 2 weeks of September.

That's great to hear. The last 8 or more trips have been in January but we did do a short trip last July. I'm not too concerned with the heat but crowds can be difficult. Thanks!!!

Just to add...we only go to parks during the week so have no idea what you'd experience on the weekends. I'd imagine you'd have lower crowds though Also in my experience, Epcot has always been super busy during F&W festival, but we typically spend most of our time in Future World and not the World Showcase.

I'll be there Monday and check out on a Saturday so Friday would probably be the busiest. Just booked YC Garden view. Thanks again!

We go every year before Labor Day weekend. IMHO it has gotten busier every year. So busy that we have thought of changing to the week after Labor Day.

We use to go the last week in Sept. and that has also changed.

We have gone the last two years and love it. We love the heat, low crowds, and Fall decorations are out.

I almost booked AKL but I wanted a pool view and it was no longer available when I was ready to book. I was torn between Yacht and AKL. I hope to spend most of my last two days at F&W so Yacht probably works out better. Have Fun!
