crowds? cm xmas party

Hi, I have two toddlers, and were thinking about going to disneyland on Monday the day the park closes at 6pm for the cm xmas party. Now for us, our babies get tired out by 6pm, so leaving early is not a problem, but how does the early closure effect the crowds? I would think those days would be less crowded because the park closes early? Does it still snow on the day the park closes early? Has anyone gone to disneyland during those days?

They will still have the fireworks and snow on Mon and Tues. I couldn't guess on crowds, since it seems the like the normal crowd trends aren't applying this year. I would suggest that if you stay for fireworks and snow that you find a good place to sit down and camp out until the park empties so you don't get caught up in the herd.

I was there on that Monday last year; the crowds were minimal (about a 30 minute wait for Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, etc; walk-on to many other rides). They still had the fireworks & snow, but they were put on right before closing, IIRC.
