Crowds at Citricos Lounge

With Gasparilla Grill closed until presumably the end of the month for renovations, I wonder how Citricos Lounge is handling the Mizner's crowds. We'll be staying at the GF from Jan. 1 until the 5 and we're hoping things will have returned to normal.

We were there in Nov....

Short answer? They are doing a GREAT job. There are about 4 tables just INSIDE Citrico's - but they are also using the "waiting tables" in the Citrico's / V&A lobby.

The lounge has placed your favorite Mizner's bartenders behind the Citrico's bar. Think in terms of Mizner's relocating for a bit .

That's reassuring. So Citricos has expanded its lounge staff? Good. Arguably the Citricos lobby and bar are bigger than Mizner's combined, and Mizner's always had a space problem.

Citrico's drew on the existing Mizner's staff . They were not crazy about it, but it beat serving fast food within the commandeered Mizner's .
I'm personally a bit saddened, as Mizner's keeps getting hit anytime something needs to get renovated.... but Citrico's is doing a GREAT job during this stress period.
And? Our Favorite CMs did NOT need to relocate to the Crystal Palace . Lord, you should hear what happened to the California Grill Folks a few years ago - during THEIR renovation ! .
