If you were going to be spending 4 or 5 days at DL ...would you rather have the less crowded weekdays at the beginning of your trip or start off on a crowded Saturday and end your trip during the weekday.

If I had to choose, I would go with crowds at the end. That way you can get all the rides out of they way early in the trip, with out the frustration of long lines and crowds. Then, on the busy days you can hit more of the shows, parades and just take things easy. I'm afraid if I got there and it was really busy it would make me uptight for the rest of the trip.

I actually prefer it the other way around. We normally book our trips Sun-Wed. I LOVE Sunday early mornings in the parks. It seems like a lot of people are sleeping in because they closed the park the night before. The park gets a bit busier in the afternoon/evening on Sunday, then it's a tad busy on Monday, but by Tues and Wed the crowds always taper off and I leave DL with a really great feeling instead of an "oh my goodness, that was way too crowded" feeling. KWIM?

We always do the crowds at the end. That way, when we are full of energy, we can get more done because we are "fresh", and there are less waits in lines. by the end of the week when we are beat, we go at a much slower pace anyways and don't expect to get as much done. we tend to do shows and parades on the busy days, when we are so tired we don't mind sitting.

I'm with Linda and Silence on this. Put the crowds at the end.

1. It makes it easier to leave the hardest place to leave on earth!;)

2. You can spend the crowded days doing the stuff you missed while you were trying to go on all the rides--things that handle big crowds...shows, movies, walk-thru's and interactive stuff.

3. On crowded days, it's fun to just sit on Main Street or in New Orleans Square and watch people for a while.

On the last day, I ask the kids to name 3 rides/things that they really want to do, then I figure if we have a chance to do any extra, then we're ahead. :thumbsup2

Crowded days at the end. We were there in May Tues-Sun and it was amazing how much we got done in the first two days. All our must do's were done and that left the rest of the week to do whatever we wanted and not have to fight the crowds. We saved alot of our souvenir shopping for Sat/Sun
