I've got some friends visiting from out of town this week, and we planned on hitting both parks this Friday... any guesses to how crowded we'll be? :rolleyes1

this is a very good question!! Thank you original poster!!! I was just wondering the same thing..with memorial day right around the corner, i hope it won't be too bad :thumbsup2

Teehee! I am HOPING that it won't be too bad, but it is the day before a long holiday weekend, and the last weekend of the F&WF... Hmmm....

Well, since no one else will say it-I will-I think it'll be crowded, maybe even crazy crowded! :crowded:

Not only will the locals be there to see the Fireworks but Fantasmic! is premiering on Friday (2 shows).

My suggestion, get there before opening. Grab all the FP you can get (in both parks) so you can use them later in the day/evening.

If you are planning on seeing the fireworks or F! be prepared to wait for a long time and be aware that if you are anywhere near MS before, during, or after the FWs getting around will be time consuming. The CMs will only allow you to go one way. You can also expect a lot of crowds around F!.

We have been here since Sunday. This is our third time coming during this week of the year and it's never been this crowded for us. We were shocked by the Monday and Tuesday crowds, but today was thankfully lighter. I'm expecting Friday to be pretty bad. Of course, this doesn't even compare to the summer peak season, but for us low season veterans, the crowds have been forcing us to come up with a new game plan.

We were there all day Monday and we're also surprised about the crowds. Way more crowded than we expected.

Hmmm... well, I hope the board looks like it did yesterday at 12:45 as someone else had posted. I'm thinking it should still be manageable with arriving early, using a touring plan, utilizing FP, etc. At least I hope so!

ok well that is great for me to know i hate fireworks an can't sit through fantasmic!! LOL :rolleyes1

but thanks for the info. i was soo wondering about the crowds. last year..well i don't really remember last year know i think about it..ok well i will just make do with it all!! :cheer2:

We have been here since Tuesday and it hasnt seemed that busy to us. It is more busy at night with teenagers doing the graduation party things.

The locals, especially SoCal APs, do make Fridays more crowded than other weekdays. But only when they get off work or school, so they won't show up in big numbers until the afternoon/evening. Try to get as much done in the morning as you can. And collect fastpasses to save and use in the late afternoon/evening time frame.

Being that it's the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, many of the locals may get off work or school earlier than normal. So keep that in mind too. Regardless, you'll be at Disneyland, so have a great time!!!
