Crowd Levels in May

Hi,

Thinking of going from 5th - 8th May


Any ideas on crowd levels at that time.

At a guess I'd say it would be busy. Weekends are always busy and the 6th is UK bank holiday then the 8th is Victory Day and the 9th is Ascension Day.

We are going 12th,13th & 14 May hoping it will be a bit quieter for us then..

We are going for May 5th to 10th and I think it is going to be very busy as Wednesday May 8th (Fête de la Victoire 1945) and Thursday May 9th (Ascension catholique) are public holidays and I imagine the French will faire le pont (literally, make the bridge, i.e. take a long weekend) and take Friday too to make a decent holiday of it. I expect these are holidays in other European countries too so I am anticipating mega crowds for us - you may be luckier going just before this kicks off!
