We're about to head to WDW tomorrow for a week-long trip! I'm traveling with a group of friends with varying comfort levels with indoor dining. Could anyone shed some insight about recent experiences at the following restaurants? Are parties sat super close? Are there still tables being left open? Are servers still wearing masks, etc.?

We're eating at:

Chefs de France (Epcot)
Skipper's Canteen (Magic Kingdom)
Oga's Cantina (Hollywood Studios)

Thanks in advance!

Servers are wearing masks, other than that, business as usual. We were at Oga's and on either side folks were right up against us.

We ate at Chefs during Thanksgiving week for lunch and it was when they first opened for the day so was not very crowded yet. I believe hosts and servers wore masks and the chefs who came to the table for the allergies at all of the restaurants we had meals during our trip.

Oga's is bar atmosphere. Not a ton of space even with COVID protocols.

Ah yes! I went in Dec 2019 when they opened and was surprised we were sharing a bar top table with another party.

Good to know! Thanks!

Hopefully next week won’t be as bad, but probably not the best that we’re going during the lunch rush.

We ate at Skipper’s Canteen in November (not around Thanksgiving), and I didn’t think it was overly crowded. We weren’t six feet apart from the table next to us, but we were probably three.

Oga’s is a different beast. With the exception of Sept and Oct 2020 and Jan 2021, we have been placed with another group at a stand-up table or right next to a group at the bar - with other groups right behind us. In September 2021, there were 8 of us at a stand-up - 2 combined groups with 6 frat boys next to us who were quite rowdy. There is zero social distancing in there. If there’s a place that someone will feel uncomfortable, that’s it.

Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I think Oga is going to be iffy for the group - there's a few that probably won't want to venture in if they know they'll be next to another party.

We've gone to all three of these restaurants/bars this year - there is no special spacing between tables, but the staff is still wearing masks and guests are supposed to be wearing masks when not seated at their tables with food and drink in front of them. I would say the most spacious of these was Skippers, but it was still at capacity when we had lunch there in October. Chefs is a little more packed and Oga's is possibly the most packed venue in all of WDW.

Trip update!

Ate at Chefs de France on Tuesday (1/4) and the restaurant itself wasn't very crowded. There seemed to be quite a few empty tables around us, even though we were unable to find other reservations (for smaller tables). Servers were still wearing masks as well.
