Crowd level MK - evening EMH

Our last night at the world will be on Sept 28. I was hoping to end our visit at the MK. However, I noticed that it is the night with extra magic hours. According to tourguide Mike and the UG you should avoid MK because of crowds. I want to go but don't want to spend our last night fighting crowds and standing in line.

For those of you that have recently gone, are they really that bad? Would we have more fun ending our trip at a less busy park? When do crowds start thinning out? EMH are from 8-11 that day.

When we went in June and the parks were busier, EMH were much more crowded. I also think they were just learning the ropes with them. WHen we went 2 weeks ago, they were much more organized and they were less crowded. Of course, the end of August is a much less crowded time than June.

We just got back from our trip. We used EMH at MK once. It wasn't bad at all. Most waits were 5 - 10 min. Splash and BTMRR we pretty much walked on. Buzz was the same way. Peter Pan had the longest wait that I saw and that said 20 min. It was more like 10 - 15 though. I would totally suggest it if your going during a slower time.

It was really super crowded (as in 90min. wait at 1 am on space mountain) the last 2 times we tried the EMH, but we were there during Easter week and July 4th - so I doubt it will be as crowded as that in late Sept. Late Sept/October are supposed to be great times for park visits!

We'll be doing the same thing, the same night! I wanted to spend our last evening at the MK; we'll be sleeping in, shopping at DtD in the AM...heading to MK around 3 or 4. I'm hoping since it's downtime, it won't be too crowded. See ya there!!!!!!!!!!
