With the loss of an hour we were later getting up and about today and it was 9:00 before we were up in Topsiders getting our breakfast. It wasn't overly warm or humid so we decided to sit and eat outside this morning.

After breakfast we went and sat downstairs for a while before the first event of the day - The Art of Disney Entertaining: Secrets of the Indian Curry, which started at 10:30.

This took the form of a lecture/demonstration of Indian cooking, the spices used and how to cook with them, and there was also a tasting - it was a very enjoyable way of spending an hour or so.

After the lecture we went to the shop to buy a necklace that I had seen and wanted to give to Gemma as a present.

The shop assistant wrapped it for me and we dropped it off in the cabin before going up to Cove Cafe for a cafe mocha coffee each.

At 12:15 we went down to the Buena Vista theatre to watch Chimpanzee, a Disney Nature film. If you like any sort of wildlife documentaries this is a wonderful film to see and it should be out in UK cinemas now so keep an eye out for it.

After the film we went up to Pluto's Dog House and got some chicken strippers each and after we had eaten I went off for a walk and did my three laps around the Promenade deck then went to sit on deck 4 with my iPad.

Just before 5:00 we went upstairs to relax for a while. At the usual time we went down for the show, which tonight was the comedy juggling of Max Winfrey, and was pretty good.

After the show went back up to the cabin and as we had stopped in Freeport for fuel I was able to get a signal on my own phone, which meant I could send a nice long text to Gemma, even though she would be in bed and wouldn't see it for a few hours.

At 8:10 it was time to go down for dinner, which tonight was in Animator's Palate. I had conch fritters, shrimp salad and veal, while Dad had windward surprise, pineapple soup and veal. For dessert I had chocolate cake and Dad had sundae.

After dinner we went to our usual spot in the Promenade Lounge for a drink before going back to the cabin and we were in bed by 10:40 ready for a day at Castaway Cay tomorrow.

Don't bother Mandy, they're fowl. :thumbsup2
Ah, the old ones are the best.

Nice job with the trip report Wickesy. I've never tried a Transatlantic cruise, so I'll be reading about yours with interest.

Thanks Andrea. Yeah, I was really surprised at how much time he put into wrapping it for me.
