crossing into us when flying out of buffalo

I have a question for when crossing into the us and flying out of buffalo for anyone one who does this frequently When the boarder guard asks your destination do you state just orlando or orlando via buffao airport
I know about docs required for land travel and that passports are not needed for domestic us flights
Just curious about what others have responded to this question

Just say you are going to the Buffalo airport then off to Orlando. You shouldn't have any trouble at all. They are so used to us crossing the border for the cheaper flights.

I would ditto what Ottawamom said, just tell them you are headed to the Airport and flying to WDW. The only other thing they may ask you is how long you will be gone for. Again, they are so used to everyone going over to fly out, it isn't a big deal.

no you donnt ..we just came back and they didnt even bring it up at the boarder or any airport,,we are going in may and im not even thinking about a passport,,,

Are spending overnight in a Buffalo airport hotel? Last time I said staying in Buffalo overnight and then onto Orlando.

as far as staying over night no need we live 1.5 hrs from border and with a noon hour flight just driving directly to airport that am

I believe honesty is the best policy. Tell them all your travel destinations.

Answer the questions they ask. If they ask where your going say Disney world. If they ask how your getting there say by plane via Buffalo. If they ask how long tell them the day you plan on crossing back across the border. Just answer the questions they ask. If you offer more info some guards get suspicious and do a search. If I may sudjest a crossing I would say the Peace bridge is the best to cross 99% of the time. We croos there all the time. We have never had a problem (knock on wood) and we just anser the questions they ask nothing more. BTW a friend of mine was searched for offering to much info. The guard thought he was hiding something when he started offering to much info. Of coarse they found nothing but he got held up for 30 mins. Enjoy your trip.

We are just back from WDW yesterday and drove across the border in Sarnia. I always say Diseny since I think they hear this alot! You will need to know the value of the purchases you make while you are there and keep receipts!! They also asked me what the most expensive thing I bought was. But other than that, it is citizenship, where do you live, where are you going and how long will you be gone.

we stayed at motel 6 in amherst ..its 20 minits from airport..then use long term A parking ..its $38.00 for the week with the coupon from the buff airport web site..the motel was $45.55 for 2,, nice clean ,,quick..all you need to get here early
