Crocs???

I know, I keep reading about them too. I finally went online and actually purchased some. I told my daughter last night that I bought the ugliest shoes I've ever seen and she said "Oh my god, you didn't buy crocs, did you?!"

She said that they are ugly, but really comfortable. AND she says that they are now "trendy" among girls her age...(15)

So...they should arrive in 3 days, I'll let ya know how they are!

I ordered them and they are ugly. But they came highly recommended so I went for it. I did not have the best experience with them, although many people swear by their crocs. I got a medium size blister on the side of my heel, not sure why. They WERE comfortable, just an unexplained blister that really hurt the next day. I saw a lot of crocs on feet so I know they are popular. Leave it to me to be the one out of a thousand that has a problem. :confused3

They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever used. They are pretty ugly (the originals which are the beach) but some of the newer styles aren't as bad. I have navy blue beach sandals by Crocs and I love them they are very comfortable and waterproof/smelly proof. They do wonders for my feet even when walking long distances.

take a look...maybe even try a pair.

I will be the first to admit that when I first say Crocs in the local Hallmark Store, I said to my mother that I would never be caught dead wearing a pair of those UGLY [as I called them] shoes.

After reading several good reports, I gave into a much better looking verson. I purchased the Athen Crocs for a good price over the internet and have not taken them off since! I love them. They are the best shoe and I am looking forward to wearing them on Saturday! :cool1:

I first was introduced to Crocs on the DIS board and also thought they were the ugliest but I was willing to try something because every time we have gone I wear sneakers with socks and end up with blisters for our entire stay. Well, at first I bought a pair of red and black beach style ones and fell in love with them so I also bought a pair of lime green and Khaki beach one with a light blue athens ones. I ordered the first two on line and then the last three at the Hallmark store. I haven't had any problems but during Memorial day week-end we went to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and my feet sweat really bad but I had my trusty body glide in my purse to I applied it and the soreness stopped and no blister developed.

Yeah, Croc lovers are rampant here on the Dis...people are nuts for them and to question their comfortability and/or the ability of all those who wear crocs to leap buildings in a single bound AND single handedly create world peace is certain provocation for a flame attack!!! ;) Just kidding...I love all y'all crazy Croc lovers...I do...love ya...mean it! :rotfl:

I got my first pair of Crocs yesteday...the Nile sandal. Very light and comfy but I'm not sure yet how I'll like them. I swear my feet are going to SWEAT like mad in the Florida heat...and the idea of my feet sweating in a rubber shoe with no outlet...EW!! Swampfoot much?

I'm going to wear them all day today and see how it goes...and since I only paid $15 for them...well it's worth a try in the pursuit of comfy feet!

I still maintain that Birkenstocks are the most comfortable sandal in every single way! :thumbsup2
