CROCS -- MJ sizing ???

My best fit in a CROC is whichever shoe that comes in a size "range" rather than a single size. I guess I have half-size feet. Maybe you guys can help me out:

I tried the MJ's and fell in love, but can't decide on a size. The "6" felt great, but I sometimes wear light socks and I don't know how that would feel, long-term. The "7" was a little big, but the salesperson assured me that I should wear the "7". The "7" would probably be better with socks, but I don't want to commit to socks every time I wear mine.

Any advice??

I wear a 7 1/2 and the 7 Mary Janes fit perfectly. I've worn them with socks and tights.

I normally wear an 8-1/2 and have the 8's. I tried on the 9's and they just felt way too big.

I usually wear a 7 1/2 in regular shoes, and the Mary Janes are perfect for me in size 7. I wear them with socks and without.

I was wondering where you go to buy Crocs? I know that you can order them online, but I am the type of person that has to try on footwear--I am just that sensitive about my feet. If my feet aren't happy, then I am miserable!! I am somewhat hesitant on buying Crocs because of the little nubbies on the inside--I keep thinking that they will DRIVE the bottoms of my feet CRAZY!! I bought my first pair of New Balances last year before our September trip, and fell in LOVE with them. I went all week in them and never once had sore feet or blisters. I thought Crocs might be another fun alternative, but I don't want to buy them and end up hating them. Any help or input would be GREAT!!

There is kiosk in most of the malls around here, and they are available at Dillards. They are also at some Hallmark stores - you may want to call around in your area.
