I have seen quite a few posts about these new shoes, the crocs, and am wondering if anyone has bought a pair for their child? If so, did your child wear them at WDW and how did it work out?

I am considering buying a pair for DD (9).

my brother bought them and he's 7 make sure you keep 'em on your kid's via straps on back. otherwise very comfy.

DD 12 loves hers had them the entire time in Oct worked great for the parks w/wo socks

MY DS5 HAS THEM AND WORE THEM ON OUR LAST WDW TRIP. I WAS WORRIED THAT THEY WOULD BE A PROBLEM, BUT HE DIDN'T COMPLAIN ONCE AND NO BLISTERS EITHER - HE WORE HIS WITH OUT SOCKS.

DD5 wore hers everyday on our October trip. She also did not wear socks and did not get any blisters. Crocs are ideal for WDW - comfortable and waterproof.

DD7 wore hers at wdw for our 2 week trip last fall. No socks & no strap - no blisters. They were great for all of the sudden rain showers.

Where did you find the kids version? I tried Dillards but they did not have any. I am unsure of the size she will wear in the crocs as well. Should I just go with her sneaker size and order it online.

My DD and DS have them and love theirs. Comfortable and no blisters from the first wearing. :)

Where did you find them?:confused3 :headache:

Von Maur and Nordstrom both sell kids sizes. YOu can also buy them from Nordstrom online at www.nordstrom.com.

I think theirs start at size 8/9 toddler. I bought my dd3 her first pair last summer and she lived in them. She wore them every single day until late fall when it was just too cold. The ankle strap wasn't really relevant. Sometimes she wore it up...sometimes down. She could walk (run) around just fine either way. We just bought her a new pair in fucsia for our trip next month. She's all set to go!

I bought my 20 month old a pair of the Payless ones. They are so tiny and adorable, and she walks really well in them, they stay on her feet. Everytime I put them on her she smiles and holds out her foot and goes "Ooooooohh! Pretty!" She especially loves the pink and purple tie dye ones.

I haven't seen real Crocs in such tiny sizes, but as fast as her feet grow, I'd rather spend half the money on the Payless ones anyway.

I'm so glad to hear that your DD likes them, since I was thinking of buying a pair for my DD2 - she saw them when I was looking at them and wants a bright pink pair also!

I just got my kids, dd4 and ds2, crocs for our trip to WDW next week!! :rotfl:

I got them at stride right, they were only $9.99 a pair! They ranged from the tiniest sizes to bigger kids sizes. The kids love them, they seem to stay on well, and my DD says they feel like "pillows"

Happy Shopping!

My DD5 wore them constantly for our 5 days at WDW. She loved them. I bought hers at extremefootwear.com.

By the way, my DH wouldn't get Crocs because he said they were too ugly. Sure enough, he got a blister on Day 2. DD kept telling him "You should have got Crocs daddy". Nothing like hearing "I told you so" from a 5-year old! :rotfl2:

I have found that when I ordered from www.crocs.com, it could take weeks and weeks for them to arrive. I had to call and BEG customer service to send them to me last time as we had ordered them to take with us on a vacation. IMO, you would be better off with a department store, even if your order online.

Ditto that - I bought DS, age 2, the payless ones and he's been wearing them no problem with socks around the house :)
