So I am getting my dd a pair of crocs, she's worn the originals ( Cayman's ) before
but my question is, Are all the other styles just as comfortable??
She loooooves the little ballet flats, but i'm worried they won't work well for Disney for a week!

So Anyone with experience with other styles of crocs?

Thanks!

I bought crocs for bonnaroo(a big multi-day music festival) a few years ago and ended up with a big blister on the top of one of my feet.I know people that swear by them and up until that point they were great.

We wear caymans at disney. I have had some of the others and they are not as good for walking. We love them. Some will tell you to be careful if it rains. We've not had a problem w/ them getting slippery, but others have.

I think for Disney you'd definetly need the cayman style or some other style with a strap across the top of your foot.
I've also found buying a size smaller than what we normally wear seems to be best. That way if they get wet or whatever, little feet don't slip and slide in them as much. Regardless - finding the proper fit is the key - I have one size 10's (my normal size) that give me blisters but all my others (size 9, or 8, way smaller than what I normally wear) are just perfect for some reason.

I always wear Caymans in the parks, I find them more comfortable if I flip the back thingy to the front. I also have Crocs ballet flats and will wear them to DTD just because I like them and I don't do as much walking there. The Capri flip flops are ok, but I can't wear them all day long, sometimes just around the resort. Just make sure that your DD gets used to wearing them before your trip. :)

I have the Alice shoes- like ballet flats with a mary jane strap. Kind of cute but they hurt my feet after a while. The heel tapers down which does not give as wide a base for support and the soles feel firmer. They hurt the bottom of my heels, but not my back, I think.
I'm trying to get a pair of Saffron in my size for work. I bought my usual size of Crocs but they were too small, the next size was tight, too but I'm going to try again. No one has them for me to try on (not even the Crocs outlet, I was there today) I bought two pairs of shoes today, though, with Disney in mind- canvas "santa Cruz" (2 sizes up for my wide feet) and "Celeste" (1 size up) Just skimming over the website pics, I can see the difference in heel/sole surface area between Alice and other styles. Hope I like these almost as much as my regular and hole-less Crocs (which are the only shoes I can do 12 hour shifts in)

I have the "mary jane" style and while they are comfy, I don't I would be comfortable walking all day in them...I have, however, walked all day in the "cayman" style and they were fine..

My maryjane style HURTS my feet after awhile, My dd has the ballet flats ans she also complains they hurt her feet after awhile. Stick with the Caymans for Park touring

I have the caymans and the ballet flats ones. The ballet flats don't have the nice thick sole and they also make my feet sweat because the fit so tight.

My step daughter (10) LOVES her Minnie Janes at Disney. She also enjoys the originals. Actually she alternates Teva Mush flip flops with her crocs. I don't know if the ballet flats would be as comfy as they are tighter to your feet than the other styles. The Minnie Janes are nice b/c they look girlie but still give the croc ease and comfort. :goodvibes

My DH who was a major shoe store chain manager swears by them and wears them whenever he can. I actually today just got three pairs of crocs different styles for him and the kids and disney jibitz for our disney trip using a coupon code it came out to $51.00 on crocs.com I will say though that I did not order them since the pair that I have kills my feet but I have a complicated arch that needs more support with a lot of walking.

Can you share any codes that you know of for Crocs.com? I need to order some.
