I just bought my first pair of crocs and have been wearing them in the house for the last 3 days (didnt want to wear them out in case they were not comfy and i would have to return them) well its day 3 and they have begun to mold to my feet and get more comfy every time.

I am now addicted and want them ALL!! I found the niles on sale at REI's site (the outlet) for 20 bucks (FYI : i also saw the Teva mush for 12).

I want to get the niles but so many people have negative comments.
How are they in Disney compared to the beach and the teva mush flip flops?

I'm subscribing to this thread because I asked the same question a few days ago. Haven't ordered yet, thought I'd decided on Beach model then saw the Nile model online. Can't wait to hear the responses!

Just wanting to see what the answer will be. I saw the crocs for the first time when I was in Disney in Jan. and my DD and I kept commenting how ugly they were and how many people were wearing them. At that time I had no clue what and why everyone was wearing them. Now I am waiting to buy a pair, I have been reading all the post about them. I know my DD will flip when I tell her, I will try to get her to want a pair, but what will be the chances of a 12 yr old willing to wear them. :)

I was lured by the $20 REI price, too, but I had to return them. They were very uncomfortable just to stand in, so I can't imagine walking in them all day. They also rubbed the top of my foot, which is perhaps the main way they fit differently than the other Crocs. Seemed like a blister waiting to happen.

I purchased a pair of the Nile ones last summer before our trip. I didn't get them broken in like I wanted, so I paid iwth a very bad blister, but I love them. They are sooo comfortable that you forget you have them on. My feet don't get hot and when they were really sore last year, I even wore them with little socks (not the cutest thing, but it added to the comfort).

OK, coming from a Croc fanatic (have over 10pr, and owned them for over 3 years now) I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Nile shoe. I honestly don't see how anyone could not.

Here is what I was thinking. The Crocs (all of them) are made in 3 different locations. Sometimes I will try on a different style at a different place and the fit will be completely different. Try them and see how they fit.

I honestly love the Nile style better than any other style, they are SO comfortable. Just my experience, I say give it a try!

Both DDs have them and just love them. I don't allow them to wear them to school as I don't feel they meet the dress code by DD11 has said she has seen kids at school wearing them. I think she'll turn the corner as she sees her friends wearing them. My daughter feels like she is on the cutting edge of a trend. DDs are year round swimmers so I envision that these will be a staple in their wardrobe!

I have a pink pair of the caymen style and a khaki pair of the nile style. I have not worn them at WDW yet but wearing around the house I have noticed that the niles rub the tops of my feet right where the toes start. I might have to try to stretch them out a little bit. If you have bigger feet from the bottom of your foot to the top you might be better off with the caymen, beach, or athens style. :confused3

My cayman's are tight at the top where the shoe hits the top of the foot....so I'd be really hesitant to try the Niles.

I do think the caymans are as ugly as can be...but I guess in a good way. LOL The niles are much nicer looking.

Hi everyone. I do not own a pair of crocks, but I see alot of nurses where I work wearing them. They swear they are comfortable.
