None of us were very hungry. l had been feeling not too well since l woke up (this was the start of the virus l had for about a week after l got home) so we checked out of our room around 11am (skipped the DLH breakfast) and went to Salon Mickey and had croissants, pain au chocolat & hot drinks. DS seemed ok, but he wasn't on top form. We then walked up Main St. and headed for Frontierland to the character meet 'n' greet with Woody & Jessie at Woody's Roundup Village.
At Frontierland Station we got on the Disneyland Railroaod Train and got off at Discoveryland to go and see The Legend of the Lion King Show at Videopolis. By the time we arrived the seating area near the stage was full. We got seats in the Cafe Hyperion area and had some lunch while we watched the show - which as always was great.
We spent a while walking through Discoveryland & got DS a Stitch lazer blaster toy there. By then it was about 2pm - we were going to the Character Tea Party at Plaza Gardens at 3:30pm. The others wanted to go back down Main St and back to the DLH, so they arranged to meet me at Plaza Gardens at 3pm and I headed over to Adventureland on my own. First l looked round Le Passage Enchante d'Aladdin.
Then l went on POTC which is one of my favourite attractions at DLRP.
I then walked through Fantasyland, via Castle & Central Plaza to meet up with DH & co at Plaza Gardens.
The character interaction there was great. We met Eeyore, Governor Radcliffe (Pocahontas), Goofy, Pluto, Mr Smee, Geppetto, Friar Tuck, Robin Hood.
After Plaza Gardens we spent some time in Main St buying some gifts. We then went back to the DLH and waited to be collected by BS transports at 6pm for our transfer to Beauvais Airport for our flight to Prestwick. So that was our March 2008 trip to DLRP - we all enjoyed it & loved the DLH. We didn't manage to do as much this trip due to illness - we didn't go on Big Thunder Mountain or Phantom Manor - two of my favourites & somehow this trip we didn't see the main parade, but we had a really good time all the same. We just NEED another trip now to do the things we missed. I can't wait to go back.
Thanks for reading my trip report.
