I'm going on a 9 night orlando trip with my 2 year old dd! 2 nights at RPR then heading to WDW. I originally thought I could resist the urge to ride Gringotts (which she is too short for) but then I found a super sweet baby sitter through a dis mama and I'm going to hire her for 5 hours 6:30-11:30. Would love to hear your thoughts on my timing and plan! Thank you!

Btw, parks open at 9am this day so EE is at 8.

6:30 meet in lobby, get her room key and express pass (I put her name on my room reservation).
6:50 be at Universal gates, wait for park to open.

Preliminary plan:
7:40 enter park
7:55 gringotts
8:30 mummy
8:50 transformers
9:10 rip ride rocket
9:25 despicable me
9:40 hogwarts express (single rider line if open?)
10 forbidden journey
10:25 dragon challenge
10:45 Spider-Man
11:05 hulk then babysitter leaves

This might be too much to hope for, but I move quickly and will have the express pass.

Based on my experience today, I think you'll be lucky to be on Gringotts by 7:55. You'd need to be a runner, not just a fast walker, from entrance to ride to make that time frame, and that's if they load before 8 am. But, a better bet is by 8:15.

HE does not have a single rider, and they don't need one. That won't be long, the train holds alot. At about 9:30 am today, FJ had a wait time of 45 minutes... On a day when IOA opened at 7 am.

So, this is ambitious. Might have to drop a ride or two to be back by 11:30 am, but not completely crazy.

see above in red.

i could be wrong but doesn't RRR and TF also have SRL?
if not use the express lines.

express lines for hulk will merge to the general line at one point.

the only flaw i assume will be for Gringotts.
if you are not there early, you could be waiting longer than what you have on your schedule.

in order to cut time out of your schedule, could the sitter meet you with your child at the entrance to the park instead of you returning back to the hotel room?

Sorry, tht SR comment was meant to be next to FJ not HE! haha! I thought there had been a number of recent reports of getting onto Gringotts by 7:40 or so? Either way, that will be the #1 goal of course, and then I have done the FJ queue so SR is fine for that one. I am happy to drop a couple rides (thinking Despicable me? and Hulk?).

Thanks for your input!

Cool I didn't realize there were more SR lines, I'll look into a definitive list! In general, are SR lines shorter than Express pass lines??

I'm not sure what you mean about returning back to the hotel room? I have to meet her first thing in order to get her Express Pass and room key, as she won't already have those, so that is why we were meeting at the lobby of RPR and then heading over to line up at Universal.

I've never stayed on site, so I am hoping this process won't be too time consuming at 6:30 am but really have no idea!

Thank you for the input and ideas!

Gringotts has a singer rider line as well, but you'll miss basically all of the bank.

Yeah - I am going back in October with my DH for a day - no EE though so I intend to ride via the SR line. One of the main reasons I wanted to be able to check out the actual queue this trip!

i misunderstood the plans.
was thinking you were leaving the little in the hotel room with the sitter.
didn't know all 3 were going to the park together.

Ahh! yEah! I should have added in a question about what should they do, esp that first bit of time while I am riding Gringotts. I will prob *walk* ahead of them to get on the ride quickly, but not sure what else is open during EE? I suppose they can just check out the shops until the actual opening, then maybe go ride E.T. while I run around doing some things before heading over to IOA.

Actually, now that i am thinking about this, during the 8-9AM EE, will The Mummy even be running?? EEk. May have to move this all back *assuming I'm off of Gringotts before 9
