In about 3 weeks I can make my ADR for my honeymoon and I wanted some expert opinions. Please tell me an changes you recomend:
P.S. I'm stating at the Polynesian

Sunday: MK day-The Wave in the Contemporary dinner
Monday: Epcot-Le Cellier for lunch(food and wine kiosks for dinner)
Tuesday: DHS-Kona Cafe dinner
Wednesday: AK- Biergarten dinner
Thursday: DHS/Epcot-San Angel Inn dinner
Friday: MK-Ohana's dinner

I am very curious to your opinions.. I am on the DDP and I know there are more romantic restaurants out there for 2TS credits but I am going to Aruba the week after and I figured I would do the more romantic dinners out there.

Other than Biergarten I think they look great.

At Biergarten you have to sit at long tables with other people, so there's no privacy.

Coral Reef and Les Chefs de France are both romantic at EPCOT as a potential change.

On your MK day, instead of The Wave at the Contemporary, I'd do CRT - it's your honeymoon after all! :lovestruc

For your AK day, I'd prefer Boma or Saana at the AKL or Yak and Yeti to Biergarten.

However, if you were wanting another place for dinner in EPCOT, I'd choose Coral Reef or Tutto Italia or Chefs de France over Biergarten.

Or do San Angel on that day and try Sci-Fi for your lunch on your DHS day.

Im safely assuming that Biergarten isnt a great choice for a honeymoon. I figured I would try something different although I was a little worried about sharing a long table. Keep the posts coming. They are very helpful

I think your plans sound nice..

I love Beirgarten, sharing a table with others has never bothered me I have met some very nice ppl this way. We met an elderly couple who had retired from disney world and learned some interesting things..

Ohana is romantic, it may get crowded and loud but whats more romantic than dim lights and hawaiin music and the food is great!

Le Cellier is very good, been 6 times and never had a problem with food or service

San Angel is my favorite romantic restaurant in WDW. Granted we had a problem there once with a nasty hostess and waiting two hrs past our ADR time in the middle of Sept but it had to have been a bad night. Lately there has been many positive reviews.

Im not a big Kona fan but alot of ppl are, and its in the Poly where you are staying so makes it convienent! You also may love it.

Always wanted to go to the Wave, I just couldnt find anything appealing for us on the dinner menu but I want to breakfast or lunch.

Honestly, anything you pick will make a great honeymoon! Its you and your wife that will make it great.

Be sure to save some time to enjoy your resort, the Poly is paradise!

Our honeymoon in 2008 we only had three days but we went to Ohana, San Angel and Coral Reef and we have NO regrets! Have a wonderful time! Congrats!

Awesome feefback.... thanks

should I switch Coral Reef for one of my Epcots?

Coral Reef is very good. I didn't quite like it the last time I went, but that was because of what I ordered, not the restaurant. Others in my party really enjoyed what they had. If you were going to give one up, I'd switch it for Biergarten but that's just because I don't care for that type of food. I've never been there. I love Chefs de France, but for lunch not dinner. It has great french onion soup. Another great one, in my opinion, is Teppan Edo at Epcot. We are trying Via Napoli this year which is new and looks fabulous.

You could also consider venturing down to the Boardwalk or DTD after AK. I love the Wolfgang Puck Cafe at DTD. At the Boardwalk, I like the seafood buffet at Cape May. I have also heard good things about Kouzzina and The Captain's Grill, but not eaten there. The Boardwalk is within walking distance of Epcot so you could always head over there after dinner.

I think any of your choices are wonderful. It's your honeymoon so I think anything would be just fine. Good Luck!

should I switch Coral Reef for one of my Epcots?

I would not add Coral Reef on an Epcot day. There are so many amazing, international restaurants in WS that we always have trouble limiting our choices.
I would switch out Biergarden. I was very disappointed in it on our last trip.
We love the atmosphere and food at San Angel Inn in Mexico.
Restaurant Marakessh in Morocco is beautiful, with warm friendly servers and a Belly Dancer and band entertainment. The food is not too exoctic.
Teppan Edo is great!! The food is delicious and the chefs entertain you while they cook. You do sit at tables for 8, if that would bother you.
Tutto Italia gets good reviews, we are thinking of it for our next trip.
We have also enjoyed Rose & Crown Pub several times.
Good Luck with your decisions.

Wife booked Marrakesh and Coral Reef for our honeymoon 17 yrs ago this June.Still love them.Le Cellier is pretty romantic. The Wave and Kona are also Faves.Great Job and congrats.

Thursday: DHS/Epcot-San Angel Inn dinner

The Wave- we've never tried it but it does seem to get good reviews
Le Cellier- VERY good, yes it lives up to the 'hype' ;)
Kona- one of my favorites!!
Biergarten- my husband loves it, the kids and I hate it. There are SO many better choices at Epcot. I would choose Chefs de France over Biergarten.
San Angel- it's just ok...we've at there twice and neither meal was memorable.
Ohana- another family favorite! We love it!
I saw you ask about Coral Reef too...it's progressively gotten worse each time we've gone. While the atmosphere is awesome, the food is not.

Your choices look great, as far as food AND romance go!!

The only thing I might suggest adding is dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table-my husband and I went to Disney on our Honeymoon last year and had dinner there, there is only 1 2-person table and its in the middle of the window seats so its a great view of the dining room and the magic kingdom, and since it was our honeymoon and we were wearing our "just married" pins (an essential-don't forget to pick them up when you arrive!) everyone was extra nice and the princesses all asked about the wedding... and the food was great, I ask my husband what his favorite part of the trip was and he says "the prime rib and hot princesses at CRT" lol

Sunday: MK day-The WaveDidn't like, would change for something else if possible. Maybe try Liberty Tree Tavern for Lunch. The menu for lunch is great (dinner is a set menu), and the atmosphere is cool. However, my favorite restaurant in the MK is actually Tony's Town Square. The atmosphere is AWESOME being in the middle of Main St. ...and the Eggplant Parm was great.
Monday: Epcot-Le Cellier for lunch(food and wine kiosks for dinner)This is a good choice for lunch cuz you are getting a signature dining meal for only 1 TS credit. I would suggest the Mushroom Filet w/ truffle risotto. Delicious pretzel bread and beer/cheese soup. Best steak I have had thus far. My Dad compares it to Morton's Steakhouse in quality.
Tuesday: DHS-Kona Cafe dinnerAgain, unfortunately, not a fan. We were excited to try it last trip, but were disappointed. Portions were small and food was only mediocre. I would suggest Sci Fi if you want cool atmosphere, or 50's PTC if you want good food and a fun atmosphere. The experience is awesome at both, and you wouldn't have to leave HS.
Wednesday: AK- Biergarten dinnerFood is o.k., atmosphere is cool though. I would probably choose les chefs de france instead, though. Feels like a true french cafe, and the food is great. It's a little more upscale for a 1TS credit meal. If you couldn't go, though, you can get the quiche lorraine at the patisserie boulongerie (counter service/bakery)- great, cheap, and fast.
Thursday: DHS/Epcot-San Angel Inn dinnerI have heard mixed reviews. The atmosphere is definitely one of the best in the WS, so I would definitely give it a shot!
Friday: MK-Ohana's dinnerI love this place. All you can eat bbq'd foods over a pit fire, and cool atmosphere. Kind of expensive, but worth it.
