I haven't been to WDW in over 10 years, so I am not really familiar with the restaurants. My husband, daughter and I will be going, and we got the MYW dining plan. We will have 18 TS credits. Please let me know what you think about these choices:

Day 1 Epcot (arrival): Biergarten dinner - 2 TS, pay for DD6 out of pocket
Day 2 MK: Crystal Palace character dinner - 3 TS
Day 3 AK: Boma dinner - 3 TS
Day 4 MGM: 50s prime time lunch - 2 TS, pay for DD out of pocket; Fantasmic dinner pkg
Day 5 MK: Liberty Tree Tavern character dinner - 3 TS
Day 6 Epcot: Akershus Princess lunch - 3 TS; Le Cellier dinner - 2 TS, pay for DD out of pocket
I am not necessarily wild about Akershus given the mixed reviews I have read. I can't get a PS for CRT lunch, so that seems to be out. Also, I don't know what restaurants at resorts I can get to from any of the parks (in a decent amount of time and without too much trouble), so if there is somewhere else special that I should go, please let me know! My daughter is a picky eater, so I know she will not like O'Hana, despite all the fun it seems that everyone has there. Thanks. :wave2:

We just got back. We love the Crystal Palace. Had a very nice lunch at 50's prime time. We also did the Fantasic pkg at H&V as well as Mama Melrose. Both were great! My dd and I did Akershus for lunch. By the time she finished her appetizer plate she was full. I enjoyed sampling the appetizers and the desserts were wonderful. I had the grilled chicken which was good but just not quite my taste. The princess interaction was wonderful. We loved our dinner a Le Cellier! We tried Ohana as well as Whispering Canyon Cafe @ WL. My ds asked at Ohanas if they had any American food there. My ds and dd are picky eaters and loved WCC. It is really noisy!! There are lots of reviews of it here on the boards!

Looks like you have a great line-up!

I don't know if things have changed but I have a very picky DS and they let him order a kids meal from Kona Cafe when we were at Ohanas last year. He was able to enjoy all the fun without making faces at the food!lol We had a good time there :)

1900 Park Fare has Cinderella's Gala Feast which is a great character buffet. The food is probably better than most of the other buffets and you get to see Cinderella and Prince Charming. It's held at the GF which is only a monorail or ferry boat ride away from MK.

overall, I think you have a good plan. Lots of different kids of places. Looks pretty similar to the plan I am putting together.

Your selections sound yummy, but I agree with you about the Epcot Princess Lunch. I think the menu sounds risky. Keep trying for a cancellation at CRT. Also we are trying Ohanas for the first time this summer. I have definitely read they will accommodate picky eaters off the Kona Cafe kids menu...chicken nuggets, hot dogs, etc. Enjoy your trip and good luck.

Thank you for all of your comments. I am still worried about Le Cellier going up to 2 credits, but since our first day is at Epcot, I think I will go to the restaurant and see what they say. I am going to keep trying for CRT lunch. You never know - maybe I will get lucky and I can cancel Akershus. :flower:
