Does anyone have experience with cribs at timeshares? We're looking at Silver Lake, Orbit One, or Celebration World Resort. I'm just curious if you usually have to pay for one. Also if it's often a pack n play or portable crib. Also has anyone had success requesting one ahead of time due to a LATE check in. Thanks!

At all the timeshares we have stayed in (none of the ones you mentioned)...the crib the offered was always a pack n play. I can't help you out with the other questions because we have always drove down and taken our own for use in the hotels as well.

how late - if after 9pm - you need to call the resort the date of your arrival anyway.

to make sure they don't consider you a 'no-show'

so would ask that one be put aside for you then.

We have been using a service in Orlando for 3 years in a row for cribs with our kids. They are called A Babies Best Friend. abbf.com They rent anything you can possibly need for young kids. They offer free delivery to all the Orlando hotels and the equipment is excellent. Prices are very reasonable and they will deliver it to the hotel the morning you will be arriving. You can just tell the front desk to have it delivered to your room when you arrive.
