Crib rental vs Disney crib

I've read some of the crib threads but am still not clear. We will be staying at WL club level with a 10 month old and want a crib in the room. I've read that deluxe resorts can provide one? Any experience with that vs rental companies? How are Disney's crib mattresses/sheets etc? Flying in so won't be bringing any bed sheets/blankets.

We requested a crib when we were staying at the GF and they brought one in our room from Housekeeping. It came with a base sheet and mattress. It was wooden. It was in good shape, mattress was firm, and sheet was ok. I don't remember if they had a blanket- but I think it did. I dont think that i would bother with the extra cost of rental- the one from the hotel was fine. We never did a Pack and Play-my kids could never get too comfortable in them.

For us we received a pack-n-play when we requested a crib this summer. My understanding is that Disney no longer has ANY cribs, but they are all pack-n-plays. I would double check this (I could be wrong!) if this is a deal breaker for you!

When we stayed at the Poly in April, they only had pack and plays. We knew ahead of time because we called a few months before, so we rented a full sized crib from Kingdom Strollers. It was super clean, well maintained and all the bedding came sealed from the cleaners. We all slept a lot better since my 11 month old slept better in the room! Totally worth it and it was only around $85 dollars for the whole week!

we bought luggage that fits the graco pack and play we have and then what is amazing is the organic breathable pad that folds up to a small size. it made the pack and play so comfortable for the baby. we bring her sheet and blanket along in the same luggage.

I've never met a baby who refused to sleep in a pack and play (assuming they sleep at home.) Have you tested it and your child won't? I would never pay for a crib rental when one is provided.

My daughter slept in her crib until well beyond age 4 (she was a tiny thing, now we know why, as she has health issues). The pack & play at age 2 1/2 was a no go. They have almost no cushioning.

My sister rented a regular crib for her one year old from A Baby's Best Friend when she stayed at AKL. It was a regular crib. Nicer than a pack & play, which is fine for a nap or playpen (heck, I traveled with one for my son when he was a baby, but he wasn't a good sleeper anyway).

We almost always stay WL club level, for over ten years with three kids. We have always had a pack n play, never a traditional crib. The only time we had a wooden crib was at the Grand Californian in DL. It has never been a problem, kids were usually pretty exhausted and slept very well. I hope it works out for you ( we are out of One room at WL as a family of five and really miss the awesome Old Faithful Club there), have a great trip!

We will be staying at the BC club level in December. My twin boys hate the pack n play and will not sleep in it. The concierge said they absolutely have full size cribs available and noted it on our reservation. They said it was not necessary for us to rent cribs.
