We are waiting on a ROFR for our BWV points :goodvibes , but would like to take a trip in the fall (Sept or Oct). Since its going to be within the 7 months before we close, home resort doesn't seem to matter much - so with that said -

What is the hardest room to get at BCV or BWV on short notice? It'd be Sun-Thur, pretty open on schedule but would prefer a MNSSHP time. We'd likely need enough room for 4 1/2 people (the 5th one will be a 4 year old princess: ).

Any thoughts/experiences/suggestions will be appreciated! :thumbsup2

Thanks,
Chris

Actually, you will be counted as a full 5 people since your youngest is over 3 years old. You will need at least a 1BR villa, and keep in mind that there will only be bedding and towels for 4 since that is the official occupancy limit.

The hardest BWV rooms to get would be Standard View and Boardwalk View. At this point, your most likely reservation will probably be a Preferred View - Pool & Garden which means you'll have a view of the pools or the canal with the Swan Hotel. Depends on when exactly you are wanting to gol

BCV only has one room type so there its just a question of whether you can get anything at all. Once you get a reservation all guests are treated equally as far as where their room will be located.

If you plan on going in September before Sept 28 you probably have a good shot at any of the resorts. After Sept 28 the Food & Wine Festival starts and it will be very difficult to book either of those resorts on short notice (less than 7 months) during the month of October.

Heh Granny - Thanks!

And glad to see another St. Louis native!

FYI - American has roundtrip flights to Orlando for $125 right now if you are going before the end of May :)

Back to general topic:
Ok thanks! I knew the little one would be counted as a full occupant. Can you still do 5 in a 1 BR? I was thinking we would have to do 2 studios or 1 2 bedroom?

Also - what tends to book faster? 2 bedrooms or studios?
