credit report site?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a site where I can get a free credit report. I dont' want one of those sites where you sign up for a "trial memebership" (cause I HATE to remember to cancel during the 30days) Any ideas? We want to refinance the house while the interest rates are down but we had a few rough months awhile back and I want to see just how that "rough" patch affected us before going to a bank (just want to be prepared) Thanks!

You can usually get one free one a year.

www.equifax.com

www.transunion.com

www.experian.com

Equifax you can do online, the other two you can do online if you pay them $9; otherwise to get the free one you have to call.

Check to see what Oregon laws require of them on the website.

You need to get one from all three. Some things might show up on one and not on another.

I know you are looking for a free report, but you may want to consider paying $12.95 at www.myfico.com . This site will give you your FICO score, which is what creditors look at to evaluate your credit.
