Credit cards at MK

What can't you use a credit card for at the Magic Kingdom? Wondering if I can just get by carrying my credit card, or if I have to bring cash too (and how much cash). I know the gift shops and sitdown restaurants take credit cards; how about the fast food stands? Snack bars?

The only place I can think of you would need cash in the Magic Kingdom would be for a Penny Press machine As far as I can remember even the ice cream carts take cash..probably cash only for the Carnival Games in Animal Kingdom also

The pop, ice cream, popcorn stands don't take credit cards. I don't think they even take room charges. I would make sure to carry enough cash on you to cover these minor expenses.

Yep yep. Always take just a little bit of money just in case for those carts. Otherwise, you should be ok with just having a credit card.

I've never used a credit card that the pop, popcorn or ice cream stands, but I've used the DDP. I would think that if they are equipped to handle the DDP, they should be able to take credit cards too.

You could always use your CC to purchase some Disney Dollars to use at the park that day.
