credit card type park hopper?

Where can you get these? I thought I read AAA. My sister thought you could get them at the disney store and from disneyland.com. Is that true? Anywhere else?

I had the credit card type my last trip but that was 7 years ago.

I think I have read about paper tickets? It sounds like those are the ones issues at the ticket booth and the gates? And if you buy them somewhere else and don't need to exchange a voucher/e-ticket you will get the credit card style?

We are here now. We have both. Plastic parkhoppers and keys to the magic. The parkhoppers came with the package from Disney Travel and the Key to magic is room key and charge card for disney store/restaurants.

I wish it was just one. I am paranoid about losing one and they are both blue. Tried for a long time to open the pool gate with my parkhopper! I was laughing for quite awhile after that one!

All parkhoppers we have ever purchased at the Disney Store were the paper tickets.

OP, if you get a "souvenir" ticket that's a plastic one. I personally see nothing fun about it as I've had plastic APs that I've had nothing but problems with... Then again I've never kept a paper ticket safe for a long trip, either.

We got credit-card type ones at the Disney Store in November last fall. You can also get them at many grocery stores/drug stores off the large gift card racks. I had to exchange a voucher from Last Minute Travel in April and was given a paper ticket at the ticket booth. I preferred the sturdiness of the plastic card.

The wear and tear on the paper tickets gets a bit much on an extended trip, much rather have the plastic.
