If I am reading you correctly, since you are staying at a Disney resort, you will be asked if you want to place a credit card on your account. If you say yes, that will allow you to use your KTTW card to chage gifts, etc in a park.
This has been my experience. If you are at a value resort, the max amount will be $500. Once you reach that amount, the CM wherever you are charging anything that would boost the room acount over $500 will tell you the limit has been reached. So if this happens, you may need to use cash or your actual CC to complete that particular transaction.
Then when you return to your resort, go to the front desk and tell them you reached your charge limit. The CM will transfer those charges TO your credit card. Then you can ask for a new limit to be placed on your KTTW.
Hope I'm saying this clearly. If you are at a moderate resort, I believe the amount is higher.
You can charge snacks and meals in the parks to your room also. HOWEVER if you also have the
DDP, then be
very clear with the restaurant if you want the meal charged to the DDP
or to your room. You don't want to have a meal charged to the DDP if you were saving a TS for a special meal and accidentally use it up. If you will be on the DDP - check the guidelines for it.
I personally appreciate the ability to charge snacks and gifts to the room.
Hope this helps.
