Creative Memories Albums Question

I exclusively use Creative memories Albums and was very excited when the started making true 12 x 12 and side loading sleeves. I have since used the Disney cover set with the side loading sleeves and the Picfolio Max 12 x 12. I don't like that the Picfolio is not refillable but on the cover set with the side loading sleeves I keep having problems with the open edge getting crumpled from folding when I close the album (KWIM?).

Which one do you all think is the better way to go?

They have Picfolios that you can refill, I used it for my 365 album.
I believe the colors are black, cranberry and brown.

I have the true 12x12 as well but don't have any issues with crumpling. Can you post a picture of what it looks like?

ETA: you need 10 posts to post a picture. Let me know when you get there.

Ok, I see the refillable Picfolios! They are only 11x14, right? I have only ever scrapped 12x12!!

I think they are 11x14.

Are your pages the right size in the album? Just wondering if you got the larger refills and an old album by mistake.

It's the right size album (it's the new Disney one). I have an issue with the clear plastic refillable side loading sleeves, not the regular 12x12 white pages. It's the pages that are just like page protectors (KWIM?)

When I get a couple more posts I will post the links.

We don't have those opver here yet :sad2:

I have been using the side-loading sleeves for quite a while.

The trick with those is to make sure your front page and back page are flipped around so that the slits face the page, not the cover - so that when you open the album, you flip the first sleeve and then, when the first page is on the left, you load the page that way. The same with the back, with the slit for the page facing the other page, not the coverset.

I hope I have made this clear...it's hard to describe without showing you.

Let me know if it works for you.

Thanks, I think I understand what you are talking about! My consultant doesn't use the side loading sleeves so she didn't have a lot of first hand experience.

I am going to switch it in my Disney album and I am going to order the cover set and side loading sleeves for ds1's next album. Having the ability to have more pages in your album makes it better than the picfolios.

The picfolio max has side loading slides, however it isn't refillable.
