Hello DISers!
I am taking my daughter to see my parents in Florida in November, but have not told her yet. I was going to wait until her birthday on Oct 23, but I think I want to tell her this weekend, before our FP window opens. My parents are down there now and we talk through Skype every weekend. I was going to give her a present with her magic band and an itinerary of the trip but I am not sure what to do now. My parents are not great at planning a surprise announcement either (been there, done that!).
So.... any ideas that either I or my parents could use?
Thanks!

UPDATE!
We figured out a plan. I typed up an itinerary that says " SURPRISE! You and Mommy are going to see MomMom and PopPop!" Below that is a table with the activities listed for each day. I emailed it to my parents and they are going to print it out. When she brings up the topic of going to them visit them (which she does on every Skype call, which is why I am going to tell her early than planned) they are just going to hold the itinerary up to the webcam and let her read it. She is going to freak out!
My parents have been snowbirds for a couple years now and finally bought a place last December. They spent Jan-April down there, and went down again in Aug and are staying until Nov. My DD has been begging me to take her down there to see their new place but I just haven't had the time or the money.
If anyone has a more creative idea, I'm all ears!
