creative careers

I am trying to figure out what I want to do for a living. I love doing all kinds of crafts and decorating. I love event planning, but I don't want to live in a city, so thats a problem. What are other creative careers? Thanks!!!

you could decorate houses. (I'm really blonde today and I can't remember what thats called. lol) landscaping is pretty creative. you could paint things, like buildings or houses. Photographer. Journalist. There are lots of creative careers out there. I recently took an aptitude test and I was put in the "Creative" catagory.

My official title is Event Coordinator. I work in a cross stitch store and plan 5-6 major weekend events a year at different locations. I would suggest contacting craft, scrapbook, needlework stores and tell them your interested in planning an event for them and tell them what you can do. You don't need to be in a large town. Mine is 10,000 people and I take 50-75 people each time I do a cross stitch weekend. HTH

In Culinary Arts and Hospitality. You would get to learn everything you need to know to be a caterer or chef or work for the Food Network or any number of home magazines. I work for the Culinary Arts & Hospitality department at the University of Alaska and we have lots of creative types in here learning how to do something that will get them paid and let them be creative. Everyone needs to eat, even those in small towns.

How about working with kids? You would get to be creative and everyday would be different.
