Hey everyone,

I searched for info on this but I couldn't find anything that really related. I know that you can create picture CD's at the parks using the Kodak machines.

Here's my situation: I recently purchased a 2 GB memory card for my camera but I'm a little paranoid about the possibility of losing over 800 pictures if something happens to the card. What I would like to do is burn CD's while I'm down in Disney. I realize it is somewhat contradicting to burn a CD while I have TONS of space on my CD. My old card is 256 MB and while I was burning CD's at MGM on our last trip a guy came in with a 1 GB card and wanted to burn some of his pictures. For some reason he couldn't do it because of his card size.

I also realize that I won't be able to burn all of my pictures from a full 2 GB card onto a CD but I would like to be able to put some onto a CD is need be.

Does anyone have experience creating a CD with a fairly big memory card?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

YOu dont need to put all the photos onto one CD.

It also depends on what you are using to transfer the data.

If your hotel has a business center with a PC, just plug in your campera with the usb cable or if you have a stand-alone card reader, you can drag and drop what ever photos you want from the card to the CD and then burn it.

I do this all the time for friend and family when they only want a small number of the photos on my card.

We're staying at POFQ so I don't think that they have PC's that I could use to burn a CD. I have a laptop but I'm not going to take it with me; that's just too much stuff to lug around. I'm really hoping that I can just stick the card into Kodak machine and burn only the pictures that I want.

If I remember correctly is was around $12
