Created Disneymoon Registry!!! Question

I created my Disneymoon registry today!! yay!!

I am soo excited about all the activities they have to choose from! I know we only get a gift card with money on it, but still--we can do the activities!!

Anyway--I was wondering for those of you who has used it: did it work, did people actually use it? Also, how did you go about advertising it to friends and family?
Now that I have it, I am not quite sure what to do with it.
I also feel a bit bad, because this is not my real 'honeymoon' even though we will be there for 2 weeks. We are going to Italy for our honeymoon in the later months following our wedding.

I too registered! I spoke with a wedding planner (who happens to be my boss) and likes what I did (and you did) ... create a wedding website and add the registries. My website also lets you have people RSVP... so I have people RSVP at my website and while there are encouraged to check out our History and more fun options. I am shooting many birds with one stone. In the past people had to call the BMs and find out, but as Registries are more common now, it is okay to place them on a website. I also emailed the website to my mother and sister, they in return have forwarded it to all their friends. I hope this helps. For those that do not have internet options, the onlline registry would not really work, so for the 5 or so families I am sending a regular RSVP form. I am curious to see how people react. I love your site by the way! I went through wedding channel at first but my registries were not showing up... o well! Happy Wedding Planning!

Yay! congrats to you! I am excited to see someone else doing this as well. I am still worried about the reactions to the honeymoon registry (looking tacky), but we already have everything for a home. The e-mail forwarding to your mom and sister is smart! Thank you for all of the comments. I hadn't planned on using the online RSVP for our final guest count, but now maybe I will.

People have been very responsive to my registry. They all think it's such a great idea because it's different. I made up little tags with the registry info on them similar to what some stores give you. I gave them to my mom, "just in case she needed them for anything ". We've gotten a few gifts and can't wait to use it!

Thank you so much... I never thought of that... I got an idea from another DIS bride that she got a Disney Shower. I may talk my sister to themeing the shower to be disney. She is a big Disney fan too so it might work out!
