It is time for them to go back to school, lol! Seriously I have always been one of those strange Moms that loved it when the kids got out of school, loved spending time with them, playing, talking etc. Of course this has been a stressful year for me, 1st. summer I have ever worked full time with children. :( I am finally adjusting to the major case of guilties I have had! Anyhow DS, 8, just came in crying because DS, 11, does not believe he wears a men's size 7 in shoes! Arrggg, as I went to settle that argument-it got loud, they started arguing over a pair of shorts and if they were Daddy's or not! I think I will get them out of the house today, as it is my day off-only good thing about working longer days is I get a 3 day weekend!

I hear ya!! I have 9 yr old twin girls. School started this past Tuesday for us. We have had arguments over socks, shoes, cereal bowls, etc.

We now have to label all their clothes. I just haven't figured a good way to label socks. I have discovered that if I fix one problem (argument) that they will find another one to start.

Gotta love pre puberity stages.

actually it was my hubbies idea........all socks have a code on the bottom.......letters on some pairs......and numbers on some......and when he runs out of those he goes to dits and dots.......and the reason was because when one of those socks would have a hole in them......the mate was sure to have one started too.........he is sooooooooo smart......Kids clothes and socks can be the same way........just the laundry markers and go to town.....ROFL
the day care kids are fighting over the same pillow to watch tv with......

Heck, I got a call from my 6 year old daughter a couple weeks ago (she's at her mom's for the summer). She was in tears because she didn't get extra peanut butter and my ex's son did. Ohhhh, the drama! Ask your mother for more peanut butter ;)

We've goteen arguments as to whose car window went up the fastest, clothing as well, who got more mac n cheese at dinner, what color cup they had for dinner, what seat to sit in at the movies, and most recent whether brother could sign sisters cast!

I hear ya!!! I'm ready for them to go back too! I know that I'll miss them the first day they're back though! LOL

the kids have arguments on who could get to the back door the fastest from the garage - and when one wins, the other will cry his hearts out.

arguing on who gets the last piece of chicken tenders

arguing on who gets to sit next to mommy when we go to a restaurant and have to sit in a booth.

Yeah.. love 'em, but I'm ready to kick 'em out!:teeth:

LOL oogieboogie.....you ought to see us at a restaurant! 5 of them against 2 of us and who gets to sit where! I have finally begun assigning seats 5 minutes before we arrive so the entire restaurant doesn't think we are loco! :sunny: The current one is DS, 15, got asked to work at a local cater's tonight and DS, 11, is totally miffed that no one asked him and he is a harder worker anyhow, lol! I walked out on that one.;)

Your belt is not buckled right and mine is.

You got to the door faster than me to see mom - waaaaaaaa!

It's my turn to sleep with Share Bear.

The list is endless.

I'm soooo relieved that it is not just my family that argues. Our biggest problem is playstation games & TV shows. Ughhhhh, someday it will end & they'll all be best friends.:)

I'm an aunt of 7 nephews and 5 nieces. So when I go to visit (some of them live in a different state) they argue over who gets to sit next to me in the car.......whose bed I take......who gets to sit next to me at dinner. etc. etc. I feel bad for my sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.....I might have to stop visiting.....NOT!

We still have to have an "every other week" schedule for sitting in the front seat of the car for my DDs, who are almost 16 and 14.

My 5 and 7 yr old DDs definitely fight about everything. Just the other night they begged to have a "sleepover" in my oldest dd's room (just the two of them). Not five minutes after the "But I LOVE my sister and want to sleep with her tonight" the fighting began...who had more covers, whose feet were touching whose, why can't I sleep with that doll, etc.
My husband's patience was at an end that night, went upstairs and yelled...sent the little one to her own bed and that was that. When I went up to check on the older one, she was crying and said "Daddy's too hard on us. Doesn't he know that it's nature for sisters to fight?"

The other day my 6 y.o. and 7 y.o. argued over who was "Stupid One" and who was "Stupid Two."

Then there was the time they argued over who's air it was that was coming out the vent in the van!!
