Hi Girls!
We're getting married here in Northern VA in June '08, but will have a reception in each of our hometowns (southern VA and western NY) to accomodate relatives who can't/prefer not to travel. We also want to move into our own place (we live together now but with three other roommates) sometime around the time of our wedding, and then of course there's a honeymoon! How do I figure out the logistics of all this??
Should we move into our own place before the wedding, or after? I don't think I want to deal with moving at the exact same time as the wedding, since that seems like a recipe for extreme stress.
How would you suggest we time the out of town receptions? Should we do the close one or the far away one first?
How does the honeymoon factor into this? Assuming we do officially decide to go to disney, it would probably make sense to wait until at least August to get value season rates, but with all the rest of this going on, would you wait until september?
What are your suggestions as far as the order/spacing of all these events? Thanks!
