I know we all like to "let go" during our vactions and not think about the calories that go into our mouths and I know there is a lot of walking but, I am going for fourteen day this summer. I have been able to eat anything I want doing the DDP and not gain on a one week trip, 10 days gained a little, 14 days on DDP.....I'm afraid!

So, although I will still eat (food is one of the best things about our trips):lmao:
I was hoping for some nutritional info, so I could make some better decisions when it comes to entree and dessert selections.

Am I hoping for the impossible?:confused3

I completely understand...14 days of disney eating is a lot of eating :) We all want to eat good food and enjoy our vacation, but come on ....there is a time where I need to eat something light or I become sluggish and feel yucky..then I'll feel gross and can't enjoy the vacation! I can't seem to find nutritional facts for Disney restaurants, so I plan to just eat a few salads, fish, chicken, soups, veggies and fruit here and there. There seems to be a nice variety of healthy options at every restaurant. I looked at some menus and pre-planned a few times that I would try to eat healthy. Hope this helps! Don't ever apologize for trying to eat healthy, you'll be happier when you return home!

Disney unfortunately does not give out nutritional information which frustrates me to no end because I have a family member with CHF and a lot sodium lurks in restaurant food. I believe the reason Disney gives for not providing the info is because portion size is not always consistent. I guess my best advice for you is just think when it comes to ordering your food. If you have a choice between fries and apple slices, pick the obvious choice. Stay away from heavy sauces, and go for grilled/baked versus fried, etc.

I have a similar issue because of a heart condition. While the "official" nutritional information isn't provided, there are two things you can do.

The first is the usual strategy - looked for "baked" or "broiled" before "fried", get sauces on the side, skip the really sugary desserts in favor of fruit bowls, and so on.

The second is even better - ask your server about the different dishes, and don't be afraid to ask to talk to a chef. If you're interested in lighter options, I have had more than one chef whip up dishes for me that were not on the menu. And they were excellent. They're also more than happy to prepare them in ways that cut down on some of the "less healthy" aspects.

Unless you're on a strict dietary regime, I've found that if I "let it go" for a couple meals during the trip, I'm not too disappointed about passing up the tasty-sounding but less heart-friendly dishes the rest of the trip. Fortunately, my heart condition lets me get away with this.
