Crazy cheap car rental for February DL trip (SNA)

I realize this board is usually used for WDW car rental tips, and most of my trips are to WDW.

But, I have a trip February 3-10 to DL, using SNA (John Wayne) airport. This morning I was looking at my Oct 2015 rental (at MCO) to see if rate dropped on Costco site, we are members. (it did not drop, it's higher). I then plunked in my Feb trip dates for DL, and omg, my mid-size SUV is $125, all in with Alamo. An intermediate car is as low as $112.

I did not see similar savings at MCO for the same dates, I looked out of curiosity. LAX is also pretty low, $159 for the mid SUV for example, (using same dates as mine again).

I currently have a mid-size SUV booked from LAX for 5 days in January for $82 total, all fees included. It must be slow time out west.

I am looking for a good deal for rental car flying into SNA December 3-13. I'm a Costco member but I'm Canadian. Not sure if I can book through that site.
We've never been to Disneyland. Any suggestions for good hotels close by?
