I have been tempted to order from crazy 8 for awhile now. How is the quality compared to Gymboree? Aren't they the same company?
I just love the quality of clothes from gymboree. I can always get food out of the fabrics and love the way they hold up wash after wash. Is crazy 8 pretty comparable? I know their clothes are priced somewhat lower and wonder if it's lower quality?

The quality is lower= but having said that, I still buy it because the price is also lower, and the quality isn't terrible-just not as good as gymbo. And my son loves some of the prints-he races bmx and they have lots of that as well as other extreme sports

I feel as though the quality is about the same as the gymbo outlet- not as good as the store, but not terrible by any means. I have several pieces that I like a lot. My gymbo and crazy 8 are right across from each other at the mall, and I rarely get out without something from at least one of them.

Thanks! We don't have a crazy 8 store around here so I would have to order online. So, I was wondering before I place an order. I just got an email that they are having some great sales.

I've always been happy with their quality, but I'm not a gymbo shopper so I can't compare. Their jeans hold up well.

Be careful with the plaid shorts from Crazy 8, I got DS a pair a couple weeks ago and the first time he wore them one of the belt loops ripped (the top of the loop came off). I didn't return them since it was an easy fix and he liked them, but something to beware of.

I bought a few things from C8 (and one outfit my son wore over and over) and they held up well. I did find that their clothes run really small.

I bought a few Crazy 8 outfits online. I thought they ran a little small, and I did not think the quality was as good as the Gymboree store (I've never shopped at the Gymboree outlet). The clothing held up well enough for the one season that DD wore it, but the fabric was much thinner than Gymboree fabrics. I got the stuff pretty cheap -- on clearance and with a coupon code -- so it was worth what I paid. I don't think the stuff would've been suitable for good quality hand me downs or resale or anything like that.

They are owned by the same parent company. Janie and Jack is their premiere store. Then Gymboree and then Crazy 8. Their clothes do seem a little cheaper quality but you can't beat the price. Especially when they are running a good sale. I did buy my DD jeans from their last spring for this past winter. They have held up wonderfully and I paid 6.99 a pair.

From what I saw on line it looks just like a H&M. I tend to shop there as the always have super cute dresses for under $10, I hit the sales, last month they had Ariel and Tinkerbell summer dresses for $5! The quality is there most of the time, their swim shorts though seem thin.
