We've all lost our precious cell phones at some point, but tonight was a new one for me. I was searching the house for my phone and finally just gave up and called the dang thing. I hear it ringing and ringing...somewhere in the kitchen....on the counter? Wait...WHAT??

INSIDE a box of chocolate covered pretzels. :confused3

:lmao:

I have a theory about it. So where has your cell phone turned up?

Washing machine...though I couldn't call it to find it at that point. I did find it when I was transferring the laundry, though.

Knock on wood.....never lost a cell phone in the 20 years I've had one, and hope I'm not jinxing it.
Of course, until 5 years ago, I had a bag phone, THOSE are a little harder to lose.

I'm ashamed to admit this, and yes, it is a true story. I could not find my cell phone anywhere and I needed to look up something on its calendar. I was yelling at my son, thinking he was being funny and hiding it. He stared blankly at me as if I was not of sound mind. He kept saying, "Are you serious?" He was making me so mad. Being at home, I grabbed the home phone in my right hand and dialed the cell phone. Imagine my shock when I heard a ringing coming from my left hand. So, that's it. The craziest place I have ever found my phone was my left hand - which apparently does not communicate with my brain.

Nowhere! I lost my cell phone the day after Thanksgiving. I made a call from my laundry room and never left the house that weekend cause we all got a stomach bug. I cannot find that phone and the only thing I care about are the pictures I have on it. My Dh even had to move the dryer last week to fix the vent and no phone. I hoe I find it somewhere strange!

At the reference desk of the school library... I was in my TV production class my senior year of high school and ran outside to print something out (the TV studio was inside the library) and came back to class 5 minutes later and didn't have my phone with me. It wasn't in my bag or my pocket or anything so I go back to where I was sitting and the phone was gone... I panic, go to the desk, no phone... next day before class, I go right to the reference desk, and someone had turned it in.

I lose my phone in my car all the time, though. It will be in my purse on the passenger seat and the bag will fall over if I hit the breaks too hard and guaranteed, the only thing that will EVER fall out is my phone... :confused3

In the refrigerator. Yep I thought I put the milk up but it was my phone!

We must think alike. See above!

I seen it. I remember that day i was looking for it, I finally had to call it to find it. Of course everyone was like that is just cheermom. I do things like that all the time. I lose my dr pepper all the time too. Sometimes I'll have 2 or 3 glasses all over the house. I have also found my phone in in my make up case too. :rolleyes1 Just the other night I lost my phone and finally found it under the seat of my car after about 3 hours of dh calling me. :rolleyes1

I always keep my phone in a certain pocket of my purse unless it's being charged. One morning, it wasn't in my purse and I could have sworn I'd left it there. I had visions of having dropped it in the parking lot at work the day before and that it was long gone. I asked my DH, who frequently loses his own things let alone being able to keep track of mine, if he by chance had seen it. He said, "Oh yeah. Last night the low battery signal kept going off in your purse so I put it on the charger in the living room." I said, "Thanks, but did you plan to tell me?" He said, "Well, I remembered where I put it. You can't expect me to remember to tell you!!!" At least it was charged and ready to go when I left that morning!:)

Those who are on facebook with me know I lose my phone A LOT.. sometimes its not me.. sometimes the kids DO take it and play games on it and stuff, but one day it was lost like REALLY lost... could not find the darn thing and had it on silent not even vibrate! My only saving grace was my 3:30pm bus alarm. I did not have alarms on silent.. so I had to wait it out.. I had my ds home sick that day so he was stationed upstairs listening for the alarm, dh was home by then he was in the bathroom, I was in the living room. so 3:30 comes.. i'm telling for everyong to shut up.. I hear it.. its in the garbage.. yep. I go around and pick up the crap off the table each morning after the kids leave and I must have had it in my hand and just thrown it away... Oooopsie

My dh left his on top of the car we NEVER did find that darn thing. I was leaving for work and dh went and put gas in the car came back left it running and put his phone on top of the car, I drove to work! Rest is history.

My story is similar - only I found it in my right hand. Woke up in the middle of the night and realized I couldn't find my cell phone. So I'm looking for it in the dark with a small light source only to realize that I was using the light of my cell phone to look for said cell phone.
