Crafty People -- Need Place card ideas for a party!

Okay -- I need some place card ideas for my daughter's communion party.. Normally I just let people sit anywhere, but wanted to do something a bit more formal. It's not at a huge catering house/hall.. It's at our local firehouse. As I said, normally I just allow the guests to sit anywhere.. but I'd like to do something different this time.

Any advice or ideas would be great!

I've searched the net but haven't found anything that I like.

Is there a theme other than communion or formal?

You can go very simple and get card stock cut it to size, print off the computer the names in a fancy print and "glue" it on, and glitter/glam it up.

If there is a theme and can add more to the place cards by say addine Disney Characters for the tables. A good aisle to walk down would be the wedding aisle. It would have alot of the white and formal looking stuff.

Your craft store would be able to diret you in what supplies to buy and what you can use. Good luck and have fun

I have card stock ... Was thinking of printing up names with table numbers and double side tape them to her color's.. which are tealish blue and purple.

I'm trying to keep it cheap enough... As this party is costing me an arm and leg, really don't want to give my feet next hehe

I like edible ones. You could do cookies with each persons name on it. I agree that wedding websites such as theknot.com will have tons of ideas

I was already planning to make chocolate lollipops.. maybe I can incorporate them with tags with the table numbers... Might be an idea.
