ok, i have been to the fort before, but have never seen or heard of any organized activities.

i just read the great trip report on here (sorry, can't recall the posters name right now....) and they mentioned bingo and crafts at FW....

anyone have any info? are these new? when and where are they? do you get a schedule of them when you check in? or can you get them online before? are they only during peak times or do they have them in the off season as well?

We had never really paid too much attention before, but when we went in December I read all the info they gave us at check-in and there was a calendar with a schedule of events to take place around the Meadows Pool area. There are a couple of activities planned each day but it didn't look like a whole lot of people were participating, but then, this was December. We did the bingo (it costs $1 per person per game) and it was lots of fun, there were lots of other things too.......volleyball, touch football, frisbee, pool party, hula hoop contests, crafts, etc.

Have never participated but will on the upcoming trip. They schedule activities daily, usually at the Meadows pool. They post it on the monthly calendar I believe, but also daily at the pools.

the calendar is given out at check in.....it is on the movie listing calendar for campfire

you can also get copies at the bikebarn

They do 3 activities a day (not counting pool parties and campfire)

I'm pretty sure it was me. I wrote a summery trip report and mentioned the bingo that my daughter won 2 days in a row and the neat Easter stuff we made.

Heres a pic of the April activites

Here are some pics of the goodies

My daughter beat your daughter up in bingo lol. Just Kidding. My daughter loves playing bingo at the fort. She won Disney Monopoly last year and always seems to be lucky when we go. Even if she doesn't win she has fun just being in it.

I know that in November they do quite a few activities, including a tons during the Thanksgiving week. I remember they even had an arts and crafts fair last time we were there.

The crafts and Bingo sounds like a good way to spend the hot part of the day. The kids will have better coloring skills then me. But I am going to Disney to be a kid again.

Will see who every is there on May 14th at the Fort. Wish me luck on my college final I have to take tomorrow (Tuesday). I have a couple of busy days ahead of me before we leave Wednesday.

cool.....COOL.....COOL

i love me some camground crafts! especially ceramics - reminds me of girl scout camp as a child.

thanks guys - i won't be blowing that packet of info off this year. i will be looking for it at check in.

Just got back today! The calendar shows what activity for each day at 3:30 p.m. at the main pool. Bingo was only on the weekends and was a $1 per card, and I think a limit of 3 cards. Great prizes being given away. Lots of fun games and toys. Yesterday the activity was Connect 4. Different games each day at 3:30.
