Less than 2 weeks! I can't believe how close it is! I had to work quite a bit this week, so I haven't been as focused on my trip, but after this week, I will be no use whatsoever at work. I have a lot to do this week. I've been working on getting laundry done this week and cleaned out my car. There is still going to be a ton of laundry to do next week and I need to detail the inside of the car cause it is a mess! 
I need to somehow find the time to get to the salon because I am in desperate need of a haircut and a pedicure before vacation. I ran out this weekend and bought a case of water and green tea to have with us. I have no plans to buy refillable mugs this trip, so we will need a lot to drink at the room. I ordered a few more Vera Bradley items for travel storage, which arrived on Wednesday. Wait until you all see the ridiculous amount of Vera Bradley travel items I have acquired over the past year. It is going to make for a good picture on travel day.
The last thing I have to do is book a room for our extra 5 days. I am waiting to book this because hubby has 2 interviews coming up and I am really worried they might call him back in before we leave. I don't want to risk being gone until he talks to them and asks them if our travel dates would interfere with anything. Him getting a better job is more important, so for now, our extra days are on hold, but I think we would be leaving on Friday October 11 at the latest. Wednesday the 9th if possible. We are definitely skipping Port St. Lucie this trip. Our friend we were supposed to stay with is going through a divorce and his wife won't leave their house like she's supposed to and it's a big mess. So, if we were going down there we would need to pay to stay in a hotel and hubby would rather just add onto Disney if we are having to pay for a hotel either way. Now instead, our friend is going to come up and stay with us at our hotel for a day and go to F&W with us, so it still works out great! It seems the only problem is going to be securing a value resort for those days. Right now only All Star Sports is available. If that books up within the next few days we might have to put out the extra money and stay at Caribbean Beach. If hubby gets this new job, I will HAPPILY pay to stay at a moderate.

I have a whole year for my trip yet so have to live vicariously with others......lol 
My mom and I had a yard sale a few weeks back and she found a whole box of old glassware she wanted to get rid of and I see her remove these beauties from the box. Needless to say, they did not make it into the yard sale and they are now in my glassware cabinet at home. Can you believe she was going to get rid of these? She had 2 of these glasses and 2 frosted ones. They are in perfect condition. She thinks she bought them on our one and only (and beloved) stay at Poly in 1994 and then never even used them. They look brand new! So, I finally got a chance to use them this weekend. I knew I wanted to make a frozen drink to go in the glasses. I made frozen strawberry margaritas in the blender and they were delish! Here I am enjoying the (alcoholic) fruits of my labor.
