Do they have crab legs at lunchtime? How does the lunch menu differ from dinner ? thanks

I don't think they actually are open for lunch. Also, they didn't sever crab legs there last year. Only clams, shrimp, mussels, for main seafood items

Crab legs are now on the menu for the dinner buffet  and I can't wait ! But as PP stated they are not open for lunch.

That's great bout the crab legs! Did they leave the price the same for the buffet?

I had crab legs there last week while on FD. They were quite good!

OH, oh, oh, oh!!!!!!
We just ate there on the first day of free dining!!!!
We had a 5:20 reservation and arrived at 4:55 or so. We went ahead and signed in and we were seated about 5 minutes later so earlier than our reservation.

I loved the crab legs. My husband had a good time laughing at me trying to eat those things. I've only eaten crab legs a few times so trying to crack those things and get the meat was still a challenge for me. After watching a few people around me tackle these things, I finally learned the trick on how to crack and open up the legs. I was really getting into a grove after a while. :rotfl: After my fill of crab, I did try quite a few of the other yummy food selections and a bunch of desserts.

It was also fun watching all the other people going crazy over those crab legs. I saw quite a few kids going at a plate full of crab legs also.

This was one of our most favorite meals. Yummy!

Yes, they have crab legs on the dinner buffet. We knew they had them, but I was not aware that they steam them right in front of you at the buffet, out in the open. DS5 is allergic to shellfish, but normally when we go to our favorite Japanese seafood buffet here at home, he has always been fine. So I figured he would be fine at Cape May as well. As soon as we were taken to our table with the hostess, my son had a mild reaction to the steaming of the crab legs, just from breathing it in...we had to leave right away. When we got out to the lobby he started to get better. I say "mild" reaction because the reaction was a stuffy nose, red cheeks and his eyes got slightly puffy. Once in the lobby, the manager came over and asked if we needed an alpha unit (medical unit) to be called. We declined since by the time she came out (only after about 5 minutes), he was fine. Thank goodness, we never had to use the Epi-Pen. The manager was very gracious and offered to make arrangements for us at any other restaurant we wanted. We went to Kouzzina. I have a lot of respect for how Disney handles allergies after this experience. I will also never cook shellfish at home, even though I haven't been because of fear of accidental cross-contamination and my son having an allergic reaction.
