Okay, being unable to make a decision on my own, I knew this was the place to ask. Our trip is Thanksgiving 08, unfortunately, we can't afford the tower the whole eight nights, but we can afford either the wing for all eight nights or split a stay in the tower with a stay at POR.

So.... should we stay in the wing and not hassle with moving because after all we are at the CR, or split the stay, move (is this a big hassle?) and fulfill my dream for a MK view for a few nights? Opinions begged for!! Thanks!

If you really want to have a Magic Kingdom view and the only way is to do a split stay at POR then I would go with that.

However if you want to spend you're whole time at the Contemporary and would not mind a Garden Wing room so you don't end up switching Resorts, then maybe you should look into that.

Could you possibly stay wing room for all the nights but the last one and switch to the tower for the last night?

Personally, I like the wing rooms better than the tower. They seem more private and more quiet. Even though it's a longer walk to the tower, I love the rooms all the way back by Bay Lake. The main difference is that the wing rooms don't have a balcony and the tower rooms do. However, POR rooms don't have balconies either.

I don't really like changing rooms mid-trip, so my choice would be wing room for the whole trip. But if you could switch to the tower for one night at the end of the trip, it would be an easier move than switching resorts altogether.

I have wanted to stay in a MK tower room since I was a little girl. I would be happy to stay in a wing room, I mean if my biggest problem is that I HAVE to stay in a wing room, I don't really have many problems! I was just trying to swing a tower. I really appreciate the opinions on the wing! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it so much.
