CR Towel Animals??

Does anyone know if the Mousekeepers at CR do fun things with the towels in the room?? I had seen on Tikiman's site the neat things the Mousekeepers did in his room, and hoped for the same at the CR! My DD would love it if any surprise was left in our room!

I've never stayed at CR, but my experience at other resorts has been that sometimes you get 'em, and sometimes you don't. Depends on the particular Mousekeeper

Make sure you leave some of DDs toys or kid things out (especially plushies), 'cuz sometimes they'll do clever things with them!

CR is the only resort we have never gotten a towel animal! And we have stayed frequently. On 1 occasion we did get a balloon left for us, as a thank you, but that is it. mky

Nope. Only place we've ever gotten it was at ASMu and WL. Never at the GF, PR, or CR.

Just returned from a week at CR - North Wing - First Floor.
Mousekeeping was great for the kids! Ever single day, they did something with the beanies the kids had (Got a bunch of minibeans from the Disney Store at outlet prices - my kids love the older movies like Tarzan and Mouse Detective)They had picnics with our snack foods, Went out to the movies(TV set to Disney Channel - Kala was hogging the remote). All kinds of fun things - they made a little duck out of a hand towel to hold our toothbrushes. Guess it is luck of the draw on Mousekeepers - we also tipped separately each day using our Disney Mousekeeping envelopes. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation - the kids loved coming back to the room for a midday swim to see what their toys were doing this time!

I just wanted to chime in about the mousekeeping envelopes. The only time (besides the Cruise line) that we have had towel animals in our room was when we used the mousekeeping envelopes. We were staying at the Beach Club. We also tipped each day and left the tip in a mousekeeping envelope. Our housekeeper left us two bunnies tied to our sink faucets. They even had little sticker eyes. We were so excited we took pictures. On the cruise line, we had a different animal each day. They included a lobster, a swan and a monkey hanging from a hanger in the middle of the cabin. Our steward was terrific. Good luck and have fun.
