Ok with all this pool talk I am wondering what is the CR pool like ? dose nayone have any pics ? My son loves the water and will prob be happy anywhere but i figured I would ask thanks in advance .

The pool at the CR isn't a themed pool, but it does have a nice slide for the kids and is a good size with different depth's for swimming. Next to the slide pool, there is also the quiet pool, which is round and all one depth (If I remember correctly it is one depth). If you go onto the official www.disneyresorts.com web site, they should have a picture of the pool.

I really enjoyed the CR's two pools when I stayed there with my young daughter over Christmas 2001. The large pool (with the slide) is a free-form pool. There are water spouts in it, too, that sometimes get turned on. The other pool sits next to it, and I call that the "bulls-eye" pool (because it looks that way to me). This pool actually sits out in the water. Here is a link to the official Disney World website: click here for CR pool photo. That photo is of the large pool. If you go to this next link, you should see more CR photos: click here for Our Laughing Place's CR photos. In there you will even find a photo of the water slide (Our Laughing Place has excellent photos).

If you'd like to view streaming video of the Contemporary Resort, please check out Dreams Unlimited Travel's webpage that is devoted to the Contemporary Resort: click here for DU's Contemporary webpage. Dreams Unlimited Travel is the owner of the Dis website. They're an excellent travel agency, in my humble opinion (I have used them a few times and was pleased as punch with their services).

Have fun at the CR. I love that resort!
