CR Day Bed????

Does anyone know if this day bed folds out or is it pretty much a sofa? I would like to get a king room with the day bed for my DD7. Would a 7 year old be comfortable on this day bed? Are there king rooms with a day bed available in the Garden wings?

The bed does not fold out, and unless your 7 year old is quite tall they should be fine.

I am going to disagree. Form what myself and her 15 year old brother who slept on it for 8 nights remembers is that it transforms into a flat readymade bed that the maid made every day. We have been so may times now that we may be thinking of another resort so if there are any CR fans mabey they can decide for us

It's actually a twin bed type day bed. At least ours was.

We stayed at CR in May in a garden wing room. It had a sofa that we could unfold into a bed. Our 17 year old slept on it and said it was quite comfortable.

All of the tower rooms now have the day beds, that simply "flip" over. Couch on one side, you lift and flip and voila...it is a bed....an extra long twin to be exact....quite comfy actually....any child and most adults would find it very adequate. Housekeeping keeps it made and ready...if you request turn down service they will do it for you, otherwise it takes all of 2 seconds to do yourself....they are great. (they may have the same setup in the wings...not sure because we haven't stayed in the wings in 4 or 5 years).

Yup, it's a sofa that flips out. My DD12 has slept on it our last 3 trips , twice in tower rooms and once in North Garden Wing (same type of day bed). The CR is our favorite resort My kids are now almost 18, 14, and 12, and they still choose the CR. That first walk to the MK on the path, seeing the castle change colors from your room, and hearing " it's party time" coming from Chef Mickey's.....
