CR concierge

I was just wondering if the concierge at the CR would help you with an iternary (sp). We are scheduled to arrive Sept. 27th. I have not heard a word from the concierge. What are they supposed to be helping me with? As might be able to tell this is our first trip to WDW. Thanks.
