Here's the context:
In January, my adult DS and his DD (age 7) will be joining me for some days.
I want to take them to the CP, but I've only heard opinions of the breakfast meal. In looking over the lunch menu, the offerings look wonderful! Both my DS and his DD love all types of food (he's the chef/owner of a restaurant ), and while the breakfast menu looks good, the lunch menu seems more to their tastes. :thumbsup2
Can anyone give me some feedback regarding the lunch there?
TIA:flower3:

I really enjoyed the lunch at Crystal Palace as did the majority of my party. There was a decent variety of foods for a buffet. We had no wait to get our table, good service, and the character interaction was wonderful. I highly recommend the lunch. I am doing the breakfast there for the first time in June.

Honestly, I didn't really enjoy the lunch when we just went there on Wednesday. Even though the menu looked wonderful.... in person it was just so so... food was overly "picked over" and not replenished often enough. Compared to the many wonderful meals I've had in WDW, this was the only place I said I would never go again.

I know in general it seems that people seem to like the breakfast better - but my DH is not a breakfast person AT ALL. (One day I will get to CP or Donald's!) So we do the lunch and dinner character buffets. We enjoyed CP lunch in the fall of 09. It was tasty and the character interaction was great. We ate right at about noon - so it seemed like stuff was constantly coming out.
(Then again - I never expect a character buffet to be 5 star gourmet dining! :)
He also likes the ability to "take a break" with a TS in the middle of a crazy park day.
We are going back for lunch at the end of next month!
So I would say - if you are not breakfast people - then try the lunch - if not just decide which one your family would like more!

We have eaten all three meals at Chrystal Palace at one time or the other. we enjoy the lunch the best. In fact, that was my kid's request for our upcoming trip in April. We like the meat option at lunch better than dinner. Great food all around. :thumbsup2
